The Founder’s Circle code
‍
Welcome to Founder’s Circle—a community for Founders to gain new perspectives on their most pressing business challenges and biggest opportunities, from both Extra Brain subject matter experts and each other, Giving them the knowledge and confidence to build businesses that are more rewarding, more sustainable and more enjoyable.

As well as the time you spend together in the facilitated sessions, you will have access to a private Discord channel, which we will moderate, that we would love you to use to continue discussions, ask each other questions and support each other as a community of Founders.

‍To keep this space valuable, safe, and respectful, here’s what you need to know.

1. What Happens in Founder’s Circle, Stays in Founder’s Circle
‍
This community works on trust and confidentiality. People will share challenges, ideas, and experiences they wouldn’t necessarily say elsewhere. That means:

  • No sharing or leaking—what’s said here, stays here.
  • No repurposing someone’s ideas—unless they’ve given you the green light.
  • If you want to reference something outside the group, keep it anonymised and high-level, or get permission first.

2. Respect the Space & Each Other
We’re here to debate, discuss, and challenge—but always with respect. That means:

  • Challenge ideas, not people.
  • No personal attacks, hostility, or piling on.
  • Assume positive intent, but also be open to feedback.

3. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination
‍
This is an inclusive space with explicit values, and we’re keeping it that way. There is no place here for:

  • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, or any other form of discrimination.
  • Abusive, aggressive, or toxic behaviour.
  • Anything that intentionally makes someone feel unsafe or unwelcome. If this happens unintentionally, be open to feedback and learnings.

4. Keep It Useful & Relevant
This isn’t a place for spam, self-promotion, or irrelevant tangents.

  • No constant pitching or plugging. Sharing is fine—selling is not.
  • Stay on-topic. Off-topic chat is cool in the right places, but don’t derail discussions. Set a clear intention for why what you’re sharing is relevant to the group.
  • If there’s an issue, respond in a considered manner and try to resolve it without causing undue friction.. If you can’t resolve it, let the admin know.

5. Break the Rules, Face the Consequences
We trust you to get this right, but if someone steps out of line:

  • First time? Expect a quiet nudge.
  • Cross the line (or ignore the nudge)? You could be removed. No fuss, no debate.

6. Help Keep This Space Great
This is your community. If something’s off, flag it. If you have ideas to improve things, share them.

Admin: Lawrence Weber runs this space. If you need support, get in touch.

By being here, you agree to The Founder’s Circle Code. Let’s keep this a smart, challenging, and supportive space where ideas thrive.
